With Frosh-Soph, you’re in the game!

Frosh-Soph’s concept – of giving coverage to freshman and JV athletic teams – isn’t a new one. What’s revolutionary is the way those teams get that coverage.
Thanks to dedicated coaches, parents, team managers and statisticians, along with a network of professional photographers, Frosh-Soph staff publishes newspaper-style PDFs of every contest and place these on the frosh-soph.com website for immediate access.
How do you join the online action? It’s easy. Just click here and tell us a little about yourself. And don’t worry – your information is safe with us. Then, once you’re registered and logged on, you’ll soon be in the game with the rest of those Frosh-Soph stars.
If you’re already registered, just enter your e-mail address and password, and you’ll be ready for action!
You can then view and download the game stories for no charge, and can see the team photo galleries for free as well. You can also buy action photos for very reasonable rates through the site and have the photos mailed to your home.

Reporting game scores is simple. After a contest, the coach – or someone assigned to report the score – e-mails the score, statistics, outstanding performers, and newsworthy game highlights to Frosh-Soph headquarters, along with any photos from the game. Frosh-Soph staff then creates a newspaper-style PDF, complete with either action photos or player mug shots, which becomes available on the frosh-soph.com website for viewing within hours of the game’s end.
Users receive e-mail alerts letting them know when the PDFs are available.
Of course, such a system depends upon how reliable the reporting is. If a team doesn’t report its game information, Frosh-Soph can’t cover the game, which means parents and players will be disappointed. That’s why coaches should choose dependable people to report, guaranteeing top-notch coverage every time.

There is certain information Frosh-Soph needs, by sport, in order to offer teams effective coverage. Of course, extra information is always helpful and makes for better coverage. Such information includes outstanding performers (and the reasons they were outstanding), quotes from coaches and players, team records (league and overall), the date and time of the covered team’s next contest, and whatever other information the team thinks would help make a better story.
To receive a form with the basic necessary information to report a contest, send an e-mail to forms@frosh-soph.com. You can copy the form and fill it in after each contest to make reporting your results easy.
